Winter's Mystery–Time To Go Within:Spiritual Journeying
“Patricia’s poetry is intense. It is bold. It is honest. It’s as if Patricia is holding up a mirror and challenging the reader to look beyond their reflection—and if the reader is brave enough to do so—they will be guided by the power of this poetry. And in the end, they will find their own unique path as a result, on their journey home.” —JOAN KLOSTERMANN–KETELS, Author of PersonaliTrees
WINTER'S MYSTERY-TIME TO GO WITHIN:SPIRITUAL
JOURNEYING by PATRICIA R. BLUMHAGEN
You have no doubt heard of cogntivre therapy, group therapy, poetry
writing therapy, etc. Now another therapy, one strongly effective and
calmingly simple, that I have published. I call it poetry reading therapy.
It means reading not just any of the lyrical, inspirational, epic or other
types of great poems but specifically poems based on Jungian and
other psychological principles and written in the mist of, or in the
aftermath of, personal turmoil.
My book is filled with such poems. Each one stands on its own.
However, when you read each as a continum of a whole series of
psychological poem arranged in three parts, namely darkness,
emerging from darkness into light, and victorious light, you have
accessed a powerful tool for finding peace and wholeness.
Each transformational poem is accompanied by a harmonizing
photographic image taken by me. The results is a little treasure, a
collection of poems and images to help, to encourage, and to offer
If you are going through rejection, loss, divoice, etc, or unable to
recover from same, I wrote this book for you.
Winter's Mystery is an invitation to open the door to the true self and know that there is a way, even when none seems available. It is the guide in the darkness of upheaval. Time to go within and discover the authentic you. This inner spiritual journey of transformation waits. Will you open the door to rebirth your true self? It calls for you to embrace the change and begin again and again. This pilgrimage: searching for the lost self, allows you to walk within to uncover your long buried treasure and, rebirth the lost self. The trauma leads through darkness within the
metaphorical birthing chamber to confront the conditioned self. Here there are no exist doors and with forgiven and love one transforms the energies into rainbows of hope, joy and connection with the true self. Now, you are the authority that accepts and honors the wonder within. This "odyssey of becoming" is the alchemy for change that is the gift of “Winter's Mystery”.

The book Words—The Art of Recalling Awareness is a book based on conversations with my mentor and friend, Emerick Schnick. "The Art of Recalling Awareness" is a phrase coined by Emerick to represent the fact that all of our experiences are just recall. Words are reference points fixed in the consciousness of humanity; if we did not have words we could not be aware.
